About All In Good Time
All In Good Time, a barbershop quartet, has been singing together and entertaining audiences for the past three years. The quartet is part of both the local barbershop chorus, the Lehigh Valley Harmonizers, and the national organization, the Barbershop Harmony Society. Each of its members has had many years of barbershop harmony experience, both in other choruses and quartets.
Experience
As a quartet it has been our pleasure to entertain audiences at such functions as banquets, private parties, picnics, receptions and the like. Besides our appearances around the Lehigh Valley, we have sung with the Harmonizers in both their local appearances and on their annual shows.
Style
For the most part, the type of music that we perform is limited to that musical art form that was characteristic of the era around the turn of the 19th century from 1890 to 1920. Its unique sound is different from other forms of music such as a men's glee club, or a church choir in that the melody is in what is called the lead part and the harmony supports the melody with the bass, baritone and tenor parts.
